Homelessness Awareness Support
Each year our youth group commits to spending time walking in the shoes of those who are homeless. They stand on the street corner and hold sign to raise funds to support our local food bands and Lynn Ministries. They take their turn making lunches to hand out to those living on the streets. The serve with Lynn Ministries on the streets of Attleboro providing warm clothes and a warm drink.
On a single night in 2023, roughly 653,100 people – or about 20 of every 10,000 people in the United States – were experiencing homelessness. Six in ten people were experiencing sheltered homelessness—that is, in an emergency shelter (ES), transitional housing (TH), or safe haven (SH) program—while the remaining four in ten were experiencing unsheltered homelessness in places not meant for human habitation.
Housing also increased in 2023 but at only 7% while homelessness increased by 14%
You can help our church provide help to those who are living outside and to those who are living in shelters by making a donation on our church center website. Just choose Homelessness Awareness on the dropdown menu. All the funds raised will stay in the Attleboro Area.
Praying for our Search Committee
Praying for the Pastoral Search Committee
Our Church Profile has now been posted on CovConnect! We are excited to at this critical phase in the process; discerning the Holy Spirit’s leading regarding each candidate we consider, and the candidates’ own discerning of the Holy Spirit’s leading in their ministry. During this time, please pray daily for the Search committee and for the candidates themselves (the Lord knows who they are!).
